We are one of Melbourne’s largest hand therapy clinics and have been established since 1994 to provide specialised care for patients with hand or upper limb problems.

Multi-disciplinary Team

Melbourne Hand Therapy comprises of both Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists who work closely with a team of Hand and Upper Limb Surgeons, Rheumatologists and GP’s. We utilise a consultant Clinical Psychologist for patients requiring further specialised care. Where necessary, we are happy to liaise with insurance companies, employers and return to work therapists.

Further Education

All therapists have completed specialised study in the area of hand and upper limb rehabilitation and actively participate in ongoing education to keep abreast of the latest techniques and research.

Centralised Administration

All patient accounts, records and appointments are managed centrally from our purpose built consulting rooms at Elgar Hill Plastic and Hand Clinic. All patient enquiries can be directed through this one location.
