Cherie graduated from the University of Otago in 2011.  Cherie has enjoyed working in both musculoskeletal private practice and the public hospital setting. She gained a passion for treating upper limb injuries whilst working in acute Burns and Plastics and Hand Therapy outpatients at Christchurch Public Hospital. She has previously worked closely with several sports teams as a sports medic providing fieldside assistance and has worked for Melbourne Hand Therapy since moving to Australia in 2016. Cherie brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in rehabilitation of the shoulder and elbow to the MHT team. Cherie is trained in dry needling of the upper limb and enjoys guiding patients through their personalised treatment and management plan and educating patients on safe return to function, work and sport.
