Bio

Kate developed a passion for treating hand injuries whilst on placement at university. Following completion of her degree, she began working in private practice in Townsville and independently managed a rural outreach clinic. She has been working with Melbourne Hand Therapy since returning to Melbourne. Kate has supervised clinical students, both observational and practical, to develop their hand therapy skills. She believes in ongoing and lifelong learning and regularly participates in professional development to deliver evidence-based treatment. Kate enjoys working with patients following hand surgery as well as the challenge of treating patients to assist them in avoiding the need for surgery.
