Nikita enjoys working with patients of various age groups and has developed a passion for working with young adults and trauma-related injuries. Nikita has experience working alongside sports teams, community groups, and inpatient and community rehabilitation. Her sporting interest commenced when she worked with Hawthorn Football Club (AFL) to set up a sensory room and Occupational Therapy services for players and fans at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) and Waverley Park (Ricoh Centre – Hawks training base) in 2019-2020.

  • Received a scholarship from Waitemata District Health Board 2011-2015 and a bursary scholarship from ASB bank 2011

Bio

  • Nikita has specialised in Hand Therapy following her initial Occupational Therapy experience in the public hospital sector. Her clinical experience has involved working in one of Melbourne’s largest public hospitals and then from 2020 she has worked in a Hand Therapy private practice in New Zealand.
  • She is described as an enthusiastic therapist, with a very strong patient centred approach. She is passionate about improving her own professional development as can be demonstrated by her ongoing commitment to completing her post graduate studies.
  • Outside of work she enjoys keeping busy with friends, going to the gym, travelling and being a foodie!
