Nerve compression can include conditions such as carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel where pressure on the nerves causes symptoms like tingling, pins and needles, pain and weakness. These may require surgery, however, can also be treated conservatively with splinting, exercises and activity modification. It can also include nerve lacerations from traumatic injuries which require surgical repair and following surgery our therapists will fabricate a custom-made thermoplastic splint and provide you with movement exercises, scar management, desensitisation and strengthening exercises.
