COVID 19 has created many challenges for us all. The latest government “circuit breaker” restrictions has meant that we have not been able to see face to face patients from Monday 15th Feb – Wednesday 17th Feb 2021. We have continued to offer telehealth appointments during this time. Some patients have preferred this as they have seen the benefits such as saving travel time, finding a carpark and also for those patients needing to access our service whilst living interstate or overseas. Other patients have found these restrictions difficult as they prefer to come into the clinics. We have significantly reduced our consulting charges for our private patients using the TH service, as we understand that COVID 19 has resulted in some financial hardship. We have not however, reduced the length of our consulting time available for our valued patients.
Often following a TH consultation our therapists will email patients with exercise handouts and medical certificates, as well as forwarding correspondence to your surgeon or GP.
Most private health insurers have allowed patients to claim the TH sessions, and WC and TAC have also come on board.
